Glasgow Style Drop Earrings

Glasgow Style Drop Earrings
Hand made in Scotland, these beautiful drop earrings have a design inspired by the famous "Glasgow Style". Their simple art nouveau form is at once elegant and timeless.
This piece is a member of our Glasgow Style Earring collection, part of the Glasgow Range. This attractive and unusual range of jewellery is inspired by the work of the "Glasgow Girls" - a remarkable group of women artists who, with Charles Rennie MacKintosh, played a major role in the development of the art movement known as the "Glasgow Style", around a century ago. This stunning collection of Art Nouveau jewellery was specially designed by Caroline Temple, one of Scotland's most talented young jewellery designers.

Each is approx. 43 mm (1.7 inches) long.
This design is available in Sterling Silver and both 9 and 18 carat Yellow, White and Rose Gold.
Each piece is hallmarked for authenticity by the Assay Office in Edinburgh, Scotland and comes in its own attractive case with descriptive notes and a manufacturer's lifetime guarantee.

  Background Info
All of the pieces in this great collection are hand-made from start to finish by the same jeweller, ensuring both quality of workmanship and job satisfaction.
How they are made.
They are brought to life in a workshop set by a stunning sea loch in the Shetland Islands, about 100 miles north of the Scottish Mainland.
Where they are made.
The loch abounds in wildlife, especially during the summer months. Arctic terns and other seabirds hover outside and wild otters are often seen from the windows.
