These pieces comprise our Viking Longship collection, which is part of the Shetland Range.
The design is inspired by the longship or 'Dragon of the Sea' which helped the Vikings to invade the Shetland isles. This is still celebrated in the modern festival of 'Up Helly Aa', when a full size replica of a longship is burned.
